What is CoolSculpting®?

Coolsculpting® is a nonsurgical body contouring technique that works by using cold temperatures to destroy fat cells while leaving the skin and surrounding tissue unharmed. It is FDA cleared to eliminate fat under the chin/jaw, the upper arms, back/bra area, flank, abdomen, thighs, and buttocks.

Coolsculpting® is currently only available at our West Chester, PA location.

Is CoolSculpting® Safe?

CoolSculpting® is typically safe and well tolerated. Some people may experience lightheadedness, dizziness, and/or nausea during the procedure. Potential post procedure side effects include a decrease in sensation, rash, discoloration, or swelling in the treatment area. These side effects are typically mild and will resolve on their own.

Who is a Candidate for CoolSculpting®?

Not everyone is a candidate for Coolsculpting®. Schedule a complimentary consultation with one of our expertly trained clinical staff to determine whether Coolsculpting® is right for you.

Who is Not a Candidate for CoolSculpting®?

  • Cold Sensitivity. Extreme sensitivity or intolerance to cold, cryoglobulinemia, or cold urticaria.
  • Medical Conditions. Paroxysmal cold hemoglobinuria, Raynaud’s disease, abdominal hernias, pregnancy, or breastfeeding.
  • Implanted Devices or Skin Issues. Pacemaker, defibrillator, or other implanted devices; injury, eczema, inflammation, or recent surgery near the treatment area.

How Long Does CoolSculpting® Take?

A Coolsculpting® treatment can take as little as 30 minutes for smaller areas and up to 3 hours for larger areas. The length of time varies based on the area being treated.

How Many CoolSculpting® Sessions Do I Need?

Most people need at least 2 treatments to achieve desired results.
