What is BOTOX?
BOTOX® Cosmetic is a prescription drug manufactured by Allergan, Inc. that, when injected, temporarily paralyzes muscles. BOTOX contains a purified and safe form of botulinum toxin A, which is produced by the microbe that causes botulism. BOTOX is used to treat permanent furrows and deep wrinkles in the skin that are formed by the continual contraction of facial muscles.
We carry Botox, Xeomin, and Dysport at Renew. Ask about available rewards programs.
How Does BOTOX Work?
Using a fine needle, BOTOX is injected directly into the facial muscles that are causing furrows and lines. Results can usually be seen within three to seven days and typically last for three to six months, although areas that are treated on a regular basis may retain results longer.
